Been so lazy to blog....gosh~

But now I am back.

My intern was over....more than a week d.....And what I need to do now is preparing the report. I keep on fill up my time with other activities, such as tidying room, downloading songs, cleaning up my desktop and arranging the files in order....and blablabla~

Back to this post, it's all about how I ended my internship.

Supposedly, the interns need to thank the company for giving their the chances to learn and contribute. It's turn out different in TM Penang. Our supervisor, was so kind and organized a farewell party for us, with the heads and directorsn of sub-divisions too. Maybe he was about to conduct a raya treat for his department and he just combined our farewell along...:)

In the early morning, all the TM crews drove their vehicles to the meeting place.....Restaurant Kassim Mustafa. When I received the inviting email from my supervisor, I googled the restaurant and found out its official website is quite well designed and attractive. Seems like this mamak chain restaurant is conquering the nasi kandar in Penang....

For every events and ceremonies in Malaysia, waiting is a must do protocol.

And luckily we have the raya cookies which are in mangoesteen design....

The farewell treat still got ppl gave their words.

Well...One Malaysia!

In the end of the treat, we still got souvenirs...it's a Unic Pen~I was not sure whether we deserved such a gift as we din really contribute much. Ha!

Boss took the bill.

Lastly, we should thank him for the chances and guidance. Though we din get to spend much time with him, he still supervised us whole-heartedly.

So, we made this for him. :)

I think I gonna miss this place. :)

And now I have few weeks break, but FYP is awaiting me now. Can't believe that I am in final year. Time js slips so fast.

Well, in this tiny small penang island,

the MMU interns gather here to work at different locations, and of cuz, we do meet up as often as we can. Everytime we meet up, surely it's related to food. As you know, Penang, so called Food Paradise, does not being named accidentally. I think the food here leads to the gathering of interns in Penang.

Last few days, we met our long-time-no-see friend, let's welcome:

Terry the bear. (simply named de lar...ha)

I "googled" this that long dead YTM MCA xanga blogsite, thank god it's still existing. So this WAS the pic taken in year 2005, where everyone was looked so young, pure and naive. Now all polluted d. :)

FOOD QUEST #1: T-Bowl, Queensbay Mall.

We had our dinner at this toilet themed restaurant in Queensbay Mall, which is T-Bowl.

Even the binding of the menu uses a toothbrush.

And you can see, the ice-creams shaped like shit.=.=

The interior design, the feeling of eating in bathroom.

You can take a bath here if you forgot.

Let's move to the food. The appearance of food and drinks all must be related to the theme. The choco nut dessert in pic below do look like so shitty, luckily the taste don't.

The grape milkshake looks like the indigested food and liquid content that you have vomitted.

This is the Seafood Fried Spaghetti, not much food from the sea though.

This  is the honeydew dessert, served in a bathtub.

Cheesebaked rice, served in toilet bowl. This was awesome.

The french toast, at least I think it's better than Old Town....

The workers were busy all the time.

Supposedly, the gang are Balloon, Elaine, Wei-s, Bernard and me only. Coincidently, we met Alan, Lip Chung and their gang too. They planned to go for karaoke session but seems like expensive price changed their mind to dinner+movie. Unluckily, my camera phone's flashlight could not function well. Therefore, the pics taken were not clear, though it's still watchable.

Can't have a clear view also nevermind, Chicken Chop, Fish Maryland, Cordon Blue....

Anyway, the long-waiting food were worthy.

FOOD QUEST #3: Subway, E-gate, Jelutong.

This is nothing special as Subway is a well known franchise.

There are 6 Zones of ZFT in Penang.

3 Zones in Island, 3 Zones in Mainland.

Zone 2 covers Penang Central, Jelutong and Komtar Exchanges.

As you can see from the pic below,

that's my current location and the territory of TM Jelutong Exchange.

This is my industrial training schedule, which I am being assigend to different departments under ZFT throughout the training period.

There's a TM Live Video Conferencing Room at 1st floor.

I never enter this place before as it is always locked.

TM Jelutong Exchange is exactly located opposite of Sunshine Jelutong, which gives me chance to shop for groceries during the break time but I never been there till now.

Of course, the streets around that area are damn busy.

Maybe the roads are too narrow for heavy traffic.

One great thing is there are lotz of coffee shops and restaurants around which make my life easier. I even tried my 1st KFC Breakfast there.

Enough said. It's my life.

Hopefully it's a contented week.

This is a post with random thoughts and incidents that happened during the last few weeks.

Now I am gonna tell you a story.

It's all started last few weeks ago....where I was assigned to a top secret mission....

This is our commander....

Few soldiers and I were assigned to this team leader....Leftenan AZ~

This was the first time I saw a land mine....

And it's structure seems like quite colourful...

And this was the land mine detector...

Our mission was sneaking throught the underground tunnel to plant the land mine at the opponent's camp side.

We reached the entrance to the underground tunnel. My heart was beating fast.

Before we entered, we were required to check the pressure and oxygen supply of the tunnel.

And here it is! This mission might take my life.....

And suddenly lotz of things crossed over my mind...

Flashing back to a week ago, I was still at Genting Highland.....

Grabbing the entrance tickets for MY FM Anni Celebration Concert......

Pandemic A(H1N1) did not really scare away the crowd.

As the ppl hv Dettol to protect them,

no matter it's bath foam, refreshing spray or hand sanitizer...

as long as it kills 99.9% of bacteria and the flu virus, (H1N1)....

ppl will buy it. Dettol is getting rich now...

The show was splendid, but the storyline was too dramatic....

Back to my mission, I had no choice.

The tunnel was full of mud....and I could not see the other end of it.

It's near to our enemy's headquater.

The war had begun.

We passed by this indian guy silently....

I fell unconscious almost for a week...When I woke up, I was in hometwn.

Someone rescued us and sent us backed to home.

I was sick. I almost forgot when was the last time I fell sick but this time was really sick due to insuffiecient rest.

My fever hit 40 degress celecius and it was the critical moment where death rate was increasing because of the A(H1N1) virus.

I was damn worried and my fever still did not fade for the whole day~

My personal doctor wrote a notation letter for me to bring along to the hospital in case I still did not recover.

I started to think of....What If I were quarantined in hospital for a week....

1) Everyone will be panic....and came to visit me...and I have to socialize with them...=.=

2) I have to take leave for a week, unpaid one...does tat mean I am not able to complete my industrial training....thus I cant garduate on time??

3) Surely a pig will fly back to my side immediately...=.=

and more....=.=

Thank god. I was getting better on the following day.

Future comes too soon and it's full of surprises and accidents.

My dearest uncle from Australia js sent us an email...which is 2 pages long...

telling us about his journey in fighting with the tumors in his body.....

Glad that his condition is getting better.....

I decided to cherish my life.....and this was my 1st step...

Next, I treated myself in Sushi King....With Kodomo Bento and Golden Ball....

And I realized that even Sushi King has its own nutrition table....

Js like McD, providing you the information to stay healthy....

Besides that, I tried to be playful...and snapped a shot with this world's largest Pewter Tankard....

whis is located at Gurney Plaza....

And of course...I have crazy plans in mind to do lotz of things....

And the life goes on.....:)

This particular assignment drove us crazy. Rushed till morning 6am, and the submission time was 9am.

Well, it's such a thick and contented report and eventually we have scored it with flying colours..

We had the ECP4166 assignment meeting, and coincidently the bday gal was part of my team.

What a contented period...full of assignments, tests, events, meetings....

This was the 1st.....

This was the 2nd...

And a week ago, it was the 3rd Chinese Orchestra Concert I had participated.....

I never ever thought about playing a role in chinese orchestra until.......

I took my 1st step to join the CO 1st gathering almost 3 years ago........

Reason? Just because I love music!

Between the variety of instruments, I picked this....

My buddy's name is YangQin~~or so called ducimer in english....

It's a hammered type instrument and the details are:

The trapezoidal yangqin (simplified Chinese: 扬琴; traditional Chinese: 揚琴; pinyin: yángqín) is a Chinese hammered dulcimer originally from the Middle East (Persia (modern-day Iran)). It used to be written with the characters 洋琴 (lit. "foreign zither"), but over time the first character changed to 揚 (also pronounced "yáng"), which means "acclaimed". It is also spelled yang quin or yang ch'in. Hammered dulcimers of various types are now very popular not only in China, but also Eastern Europe, the Middle East, India and Pakistan. The instruments are also sometimes known by the names "santur" and "cymbalom".

It's not easy to overwhelm this instrument. The difficulties are:

1) It's huge and heavy. You can't carry anywhere.

2) It has so many bridges and strings.

3) Though it's like piano, but u are playing it with hammers, not your fingers.

4) You must get used to bend you wrist down at 90 degree to strike on the strings.

5) You have to master the notes and different keys require different orientation of the strings.

6) No way to play while watching drama. (that's how I learned guitar...=.=)

1st concert I played 2 simple songs.

2nd concert I played 2-3 not tat simple songs and I played guitar too.

3rd concert I had to perform 8-9 songs........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Omg)

I do not have any experience in chinese orchestra. I started by learning the beats and tempo...

from the basic, to skills, and memorizing the notes and positions of strings.......

and lastly, insert your emotion into the songs...

During weeks ago, we had the die-hard-practice....even during the Earth Hour....

We waited for the lights so that we could continue our practice... (Gam Dong ler~)

Then few days before the concert, we practised together with the guests.....

We needed them to strengthen our standard...:)

Suddenly, so many ppl, so energetic that time.

Even Ah Gan laughed until mouth so big...

We practised, pratised, practised......

Cause we believed....Practice Makes Perfect.

And our respective conductor, Miss Stephanie Lem, is my yangqin SIFU too....

I know how far I can go, as it needs a long time to master Yangqin,

and somemore due to academic stuffs and activities, I always eat snake.....

until left anaconda......cuz too big size....(err... go Holland d...back to topic....)

But when I have the chance, I really worked hard on it de lor~

Thanks to my SIFU for her thrust in me though I can't really play very well, she allowed me to perform.

Well, during the practice, I snapped a few shots on the instruments...

Let's see how CHINESE and UNIQUE the instruments are......

The way the instruments looked are fascinating...

Each of the instruments plays different roles, leading or adding to harmony with chords.........

That's the beauty of an orchestra performance....:)

Partly of the reason I still in this group, because of Miss Stephanie....

She actually taught me lotz of things....and through CO, I met new friends....

That night, once again, we performed the song, THE SMELL OF RAIN....(Yu de Wei Dao)~

The song composed by one of her students, Mr. Zhao, and I wrote the lyrics.....

and because of this production, I got closer to her..........

She sang this song that night while we played the melody....

She gave me a story and I wrote the lyrics based on it....

It basically about a gal who can smell the falling of rain....

And everytime it rains, the gal thought about the guy he met......

Both under an umbrella, the memory, the passion, the butterfly in stomach........

Few years later, back to the same place, it rains again....

But the guy has gone~~~

For those who don't know Mandarin, try to listen and feel the scenes...

if u can feel it, means this song can go through ppl's hearts...:)

In the end, we stood up with joy....bowed to the audience.....

Here comes the season of submissions of assignments...my god!

Well, my TO-DO list already full with the assignments....not even one is completed....haha!

Well, actually ASS is short form of Assignment....though it's not sound nice....but only for my self referencing....

The circled part I have to explain,

the lecturer of that subject is Dr. Shabiul....he is the only lecturer, so we usually call the class as "Shabiul"...

Since the next day I had midterm test, Miss Sherlyn said nobody will help me to celebrate.

But before that I saw the cake she kept in the fridge of our house, (want give me surprise but cake in my fridge?!)

so I was just anticipating the sudden attack!

The clock struck at 1230pm, I received a msg calling me to go down to the swimming pool,

I just though of "Har, want pushed into pool a?"

So, i changed my attire to water-resistant materials...=.=

And then they appeared outside the lift and sang Happy Bday~~~

Whole block sang together....(bluff you de lar)

Back to my house~!

The devils were waiting to push my head, but I insisted to pop...there goes PUSH POP stack....=.=

8th and 9th CLSC President also appeared and greeted me....wai shui le~

We had the group photo session before anyone left, and these ppl are my CLS teammates!!!

Few days after the midterms.....

It's Friday and Miss Sherlyn booked me to this place to celebrate my bday!

She said, "just 2 of us ok,  go and have 2 ppl world (er ren shi jie)!"

Before i  started my journey, I asked this guy, Mr. Ethan about the direction to there....

Then he continued to say, "Later I also will take Jln Ampang..."

I was thinking "Later...??!! You going also meh???!!@!"

Then with quick wits, he said, "Errr....I am going to KLCC there lar...."

Usually, I will ask him "Go there for wat?" but hor dont want make him hard-to-do (kang kor zho),

So i just said pretend a nerd knowing nothing~~

We reached there! There are many restaurants avaiable but we picked this one~!

Cause this is Restaurant Look Out Point....use back the same name as the area....:)

According to the pic below, this was my table number.

I asked the waiter, "can give 22 a? cuz I wanna celebrate 22's bday!"

Then he replied, "No need lar....1+1 also 2 mar~~got 2 enough lar..."

(now u know why 2 is special?)

I flipped the menu, finally I ordered Special Steak (Cheese with Ham)!

DING! Here comes Special Steak!

You knw y it is special? Because hor, by looking at it, you don't know it's BEEF....

Romantic ler~~~ Candle Light Dinner...though not long and tall candles lar....

I wondered, why so many seats were being reserved besides our table.....

Then Miss Sherlyn said, "should be allocated by row de..."

She continued, "They filled up 1st and 3rd row first, then we are 2nd row, so later only fill up lor~"

I just...........speechless.

I knew something gonna happened....so I kept on looking at entrance....

Miss Sherlyn tried to distract me, so she just kept taking my pic, called me to pose.....

Half of the way, I went to toilet. When I came out fromt the washroom, she was there with me!

I asked, "then our food how ar?? not yet finish eating ler~"

She said, "Nvm, I called waiter helped us to take care d." (speechless again!)

So she used back the old trick, called me to pose for pictures again....

Then after few minutes, she took me back to our table and the crowd was there already.

And of cuz, my face kena again! aiks~~ (no pic tempo, other ppl took)

It's a merry night! Really lotz of ppl.....:)

Most of them purposely wore red element outfit to support my sur-name...ANG~!

I have watched few movies recently, they are:

1) Seven Pounds

2) Slumdog Millionaire

3) Confessions of a Shopaholic

This post is basically a brief intro with short-and-simple review plus comments on these 3 great movies.

Firstly, I chose to watch Seven Pounds because:

a) Will Smith

b) From the Director of "The Pursuit of Happiness"

c) Random pick....=.=

I goggled it and this came up:

This show is quite moody, it's not a comedy.

Story goes with Will Smith as an aeronautical engineer, had a great life and beautiful wife.

Road accident happened when he drove while using his handphone.

A single mistake took 7 lives, 6 strangers and his beloved wife.

After this, he quitted his job and try to help those who need help, by donating his organs,

giving up his beach house....and so on. 

Comments:

1) Touching.

2) Life is really unpredictable.

3) Don't drive and busy with something else, concentrate!

Proceed with the second movie, it's SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!

This movie damn WAI-SUI....means impressive like tat lar~

Why WAI-SUI? becuz this movie is so greatly high-rated!!

The story started with Malik,  the slumdog, was caught as he was suspected to cheat in the gameshow,

"Who Wants To be a Millionaire"!

He actually did not cheat and he knew the answers from his pathetic and challenging life. 

So you can expect in this movie, the story is like a jumper, jumps to police station,

jumps to scene of gameshow, then jumps to his past. 

It's quite meaningful and special in the way that the director tried to tell the story.

Comments:

a) Slumdog is actually SLUM + UNDERDOG......a poor kid came from poverty stricken area!

b) The coincidence happened too much.

c) Let us experience the pity and poverty of poor kids in India...

where they were forced to become beggars and thieves...

d) How lucky am I can live in peaceful conditions...:)

e) Now i know how "dark" the community can be....(esp during the Earth Hour yesterday night...=.=)

Well, now it's the time for a shopaholic to confess.

I was dragged to cinema by my lovely e-shopaholic for this movie but actually this film is quite entertaining.

It begins with Rebecca, a journalist, was a seriously addicted shopaholic. 

Since she was a child, she would like to own the MAGIC CARD so much, which refers to the credit card.

Now, she got 12 cards and she shopped extravagantly as

she thought that her world got nicer when she shopped.

Now, she lost her job and owed a lot of money due to the debt of her cards....

She found a job as financial columnist, hoping this would be a

stepping stone to join the partnership fashion magazine, Allete!

Later on, she lost everything, love, friendship, trust....becuz of her spending habit and dishonesty.

She questioned about her ambition and if overcoming the "shopaholic" conditions will make her a better person.

Comments:

a) Naturally hilarious and funny.

b) Quite touch.

c) There's been a controversy on this movie as some said it is typical, childish, boring....

I think those are subjective opinions, but for me, it's entertaining!

这是我就像是电脑处理器在实行流水线式的操作，顿时变成了超人！

可喜的是，我在干着我喜欢的事情，才是真正有意义。

在课业上，我有要求，绝不松懈。所以，这是第一。

当晚，也有场赛事。篮球是我的喜好之一。组成球队算是我毕业前的目标之一，也算达成了。

最重要的，这是大学时期一起打球的猪朋狗友。

或许输赢不重要，过程才是值得纪念吧。

赛事后，还要庆祝鸟鸟陈的生辰。

他的生辰代表着一样事情，那就是四月即将来临。四月头一天绝对是好日子。呵呵！

庆祝完，还要录歌。此次的发表会，我交了三首曲子，两首算顺利入围，都是由MMU F。I。R。 合力制成。

这一次的假期，是首次驾驶返乡。。原来路程中的风景多么的震撼。。。

这是我本身边驾车边拍相的作品。不要学习，是不良示范。呵呵。。

傍晚的天空真的好美。。。也很壮观。感谢我这一架NOKIA 5610 3.2万相素照相的功能。

躲在云朵后的太阳。。。。若隐若现。。。

幸运的是，让我遇上了春雨里洗过后出现的---彩虹！！

有相照，自然比较不闷，也不易睡着。

此外，当然也要感谢Dunkin Doughnut 的咖啡搅滑冰。两杯RM10而已。

为何我必须边驾驶边照相呢？因为陪伴我归乡的人在钓鱼，不得空理我。

一转眼就到夜晚时分。。。我终于回家了！

蔚蓝的天空，有彩虹的陪伴，让我不自禁想起这首自创曲。。。。

我总觉得。。。彩虹是很奇妙的东西。。。

只有雨过天晴，我们才看得见彩虹。。。。

如果我们可以选择专属的天空。。可以拥有自己的彩虹，七彩可以填上我们的颜色，那该多好！

希望大家能够拥有自己的彩虹。。。

WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While leaving the cinema, I was not quite sure what was happening!!

This the 1st time I watched such a lame show.....

though someone reading this now might think that this film is suitable for me....

=.=

I will certainly BURN the disc AFTER READING it with my computer!!

OMG!!

For those who are interested in figuring out what is happening or try to be lame,

you may pick to watch this movie.....GOD BLESS YOU~

Critical Reception:

Todd McCarthy, of Variety magazine, wrote a strongly negative review of Burn After Reading, which he said "tries to mate sex farce with a satire of a paranoid political thriller, with arch and ungainly results.

The Hollywood Reporter reviewer Kirk Honeycutt complimented the actors for making fun of their screen personae, and said the Coen brothers "have taken some of cinema's top and most expensive actors and chucked them into Looney Tunes roles in a thriller."

David Denby of The New Yorker said the movie had several funny scenes, but they "are stifled by a farce plot so bleak and unfunny that it freezes your responses after about forty-five minutes." Innocent people die quickly and the guilty go unpunished.

Leah Rozen, of People magazine, said the characters' "unrelenting dumbness and dim-witted behavior is at first amusing and enjoyable but eventually grows wearing."

这是值得庆幸的事，出席人数很多，毕竟这几年只有一位海外歌手来本院办签唱会。

人山人海，在所难免。。。人数接近1000人，爆满了古城多大礼堂。。。

当天的氛围很好。她唱了三首歌。。。

最精彩的是，一只猪上台玩游戏，也牵涉到我被逼上台并肩作战！

也因这样，我们俩人有得近距离接触梁文音。。。

当天现场有点歌唱有点不稳定，但是基本上还是很好听，很动人！不枉此行！

感觉上天妒忌你的快乐，就会要你尝试不如意。

隔天爬不起床，没想太多，顺手托朋友帮忙签下课堂出席表。。。结果导师念名中招！！

而且，另几位朋友也遭殃，导师虽然之前有提醒过，但是过去几堂课只是圈出假签名，不料今天那么认真！！

衰到。。。。不知怎么说！而且处罚是要自动退出此科目~！！！！

这一科算是必修之课，我不曾逃过这堂课，很认真的每堂课都做笔记，如今却因为一个签名。。。=。=||||||

如果没有自动退出，导师会设法让你作业吃零蛋，再改你的出席率为零巴仙！！真是逼人太甚。

导师的权利也太大了吧。。成也导师，败也导师！

我相信，很多人比我逃更多课。。。甚至于没出席过，都可险险过关！

这一次，虽然有错在先，我愿意承认，但是处罚也太严厉了吧！！

下午时分去找导师签下自己的真实签名，希望能够证明之前没有冒仿的签名。。。希望安然度过~

现在犹如等待法庭的宣判。。感觉像是被拿来当成白老鼠般警告他人不得冒仿签名。。。。

无言。。。。。

当然是新春嘉年华会！！！

多媒体大学在赛城成立至今，每一年都会有新春嘉年华会。。。

无可置疑的，这也致使新春成为学会的招牌活动，也是学会的骄傲！

转眼间，来到了第十二届。。。

回想起前几届，快乐的回忆总是那么清晰。

我不曾参与筹办新春工作，但是因职在身，每一届的新春我都还是有所接触。

从甲华第九届新春嘉年华会。。。

赛华第十届新春嘉年华会。。。

赛华第十一届新春嘉年华会。。。

赛城第十二届新春嘉年华会也即将来临！！

这几届开始，一直都有机会在幕后献上一份绵力。。。

那就是---制作新春主题曲。。。

这是大专活动，应该有年轻气息些，不可太传统。。。=。=

一眨眼，这几年竟然为新春写了四首曲子。。。

写的有些瓶颈了。。。但确实会看到更成熟的进步。。。

不怎么熟悉专业创作软体，在有限的资源，没有酬劳的情况下，

尽力去完成每一节的录制，编曲和词意表达。。。。 ：）
