It was yesterday evening.

I was sleeping while someone woke me up for something~

I got into the car....in blur condition....

And then finally, I reached the destination...(js nearby only lar~~seems like very far...haha~)

The MMU Swimming Pool Complex!!

The complex was officiated and launched a day before the 1st trimester....and yesterday....the 6th day of 2nd trimester...

was the 1st time for me to be at here.

Let's back to the past. The day before the 1st Trimester 08/09 of MMU started....

Our "beloved" MMU president, Prof. Dr. Zaharin Yusoff and a high-post guy from TM, Tan Sri Dato’ Ir Muhammad Radzi Haji Mansor were the 1st batch of homo-sapiens who swam in the pool. And of course, they officiated the pool in naked body with swimming trunks only...

Ok! now back to the story~~

The pic below shows the attirement to swim~~We are quite disappointed when we saw that bikini and "less-cloth" swimming suit are not available for gals~ Haha...Well, in-campus swimming pool, what to do?

For student, you need to pay RM1 to enter. Staff is RM2, and Guest would be RM3. It means outsider can swim too~

Well, we bought the ticket earlier and we were in!

My friends said that it's a olympic-sized SWIMMING POOL. Well, what the hell is that?

Here is the answer:

A simplified diagram of the FINA long course swimming pool standard, used at the World Championships and Summer Olympics. (Pic Above)

Brief requirements:

Length 50 m (164 ft)[4]
Width 25 m (82 ft)[4]
Number of Lanes 10[4]
Lane Width 2.5 m (8.2 ft)[4]
Water Temperature 25–28°C (77–82.4°F)[4]
Light Intensity > 1500 lux (> 140 foot-candles)[4]
Depth 2.0 m (6.6 ft) minimum[4]
Volume 2,500 m3 (88,000 cu ft) or
2,500,000 L (550,000 imp gal/660,000 US gal)
minimum, depending on depth[4

Thanks to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_size_swimming_pool!

The depth for the swimming pool ranges from 1.4M to 2.1M.  The swimming pool also has a grandstand with a capacity of 500 people.

The 1st lane...no.1, my lucky number!

"Eh....Why take my pics...not yet prepared la~~"said The Sleeping God.

Of cuz, MMU expects children to be here with family so that they can earn more... Money-Making-Uni~good job!

The Kids' Pool...

They requested me to take pic for them, cin cai lar....take for them ba!

Trying to show-off some tricks....

The god sleeps everywhere..includes the pool.

That evening, almost all of the invaders were International Students...

The most interesting pair of IS would be this pair....

They came before us, left after us. They played water in euphoria, jumped up jumped down, took turn to take pics....and all the possible actions that a couple would do, they did it~ (Hope they won't read this post!)

-Exhausted-

Well, if you tell me what are the differences between MMU at Melaka and Cyberjaya, I probably will tell you that in Cyberjaya, we have olympic-sized swimming pool, new mini stadium with '400M' mondo track, a new football field, an indoor stadium consisting 3 badminton courts and a basketball court and a double-floor gym!

Maybe it's the way for self-consolation to make us feel better as everything here in Cyber is so expensive compared to Melaka.

Thx to Sports Complex, we can move our asses everyday~
